Arrests
12/10/16 Police received a call that someone had just shot a deer from a vehicle in the area of Otterkill and Jackson Ave.
Christopher J Carlino, age 24, of New windsor, NY was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child (an infant was in his car), unlawful possession of marijuana, environmental law offenses, hunting after hours, illegally taking protective wildlife, discharging a weapon with 500’, trespassing in a posted area and hunting with the aid of a motor vehicle.
12/06/16 An 18 yr old from Mountainville, NY was arrested and charged with menacing
Incidents
12/06/16 A business owner reported that 2 subjects were caught on camera shoplifting at a business on Rt 94
12/07/16 Police respond to a residence on Rt 94 for a report of criminal mischief. A mailbox was struck by a vehicle.
12/08/16 Police respond to Barnstorm Rd for a report of a coyote on the property and a subject not wanting to leave her vehicle. Police assist to get coyote to leave the area.
12/09/16 A caller reported theft and credit card fraud. His wallet was missing and someone charged over $1500 in charges on a credit card.
12/09/16 A caller reported that her neighbor was putting paper plates in her mailbox. Both parties were advised.
12/10/16 Police and Fire dept respond to a structure fire. A resident had a small heating lamp in the chicken coop close to the home. The family safely exited the residence.
12/10/16 A caller reported that a street sign was down on the corner of Mailler and Willow Ave.
12/10/16 An employee at Cumberland Farm stated a subject walked out of Cumberland without paying for coffee.
